Today’s Mandala
Messy
“Sometimes … there’s a fine line
— Lady Gaga
between impressionistic and messy.”
“Open your arms to life!
— Deborah Wiles
Let it strut into your heart
in all its messy glory!”
“My big thesis is that
— Marcus du Sautoy
although the world
looks messy and chaotic,
if you translate it into the world
of numbers and shapes,
patterns emerge
and you start to understand
why things are the way they are.”
Today’s MotD reminds us that our world, our lives often seem messy, chaotic, muddled, and at times all over the place, lacking any sense of rhyme or reason. And yet, if we were to take a step back, we’d be able to see the patterns, to see the whys and the wherefores, the methods to the madness that form a far greater, more glorious picture. Remember, we are all works in progress in varying degrees and at various times without knowing who is really further along than anyone else.
Our challenge becomes to bask in the (our) messiness, even go so far as to see the joy in the (our) messiness, then let it reveal it’s message(s) to us, following through with whatever action, if any, seems appropriate.
Blessings,
