22-304 Reflect

Today’s Mandala
Reflect

“Life is a mirror
and will reflect back
to the thinker
what he thinks into it.”

— Ernest Holmes

“How we think
shows through in how we act.
Attitudes are mirrors of the mind.
They reflect thinking.”

— David Joseph Schwartz

“Like water which can clearly mirror
the sky and the trees
only so long as its surface
is undisturbed,
the mind can only reflect
the true image of the Self
when it is tranquil
and wholly relaxed.”

— Indra Devi

Today’s MotD encourages us to be ever so diligent about monitoring our inner dialogue and thoughts. For what we think internally reflects externally. Without our awareness, most of what is reflected externally is done unconsciously and seemingly outside of our control.

Our challenge becomes digging deep enough to recognize where we abandon (and often override) our True Self. When we spot the false in us and course correct it (change the dialogue), our external world begins to reflect more of our True Self.

From Coach Carly (Change Your Inner World To Change Your Outer World):

…the truth is that our external world is really only a mirror for our inner world and how we’re treating ourselves. Here are a few examples:

  • Clutter in your external environment = clutter in your brain space
  • Feeling unloved = not loving yourself enough
  • Feeling disrespected/used/taken for granted = not setting good personal boundaries = lack of self love/self respect

Some of the ways she offers to change the inner are: release limiting beliefs, release the stuck energetic clutter, reflection, goal setting, self love, and forgiveness. If we want to experience more peace, love, and joy in the world, we must begin from the inside.

“If you change
the way you look at things,
the things you look at change.”

— Wayne Dyer
