Today’s Mandala
Arise
“When you arise in the morning,
— Marcus Aurelius
think of what a precious privilege it is
to be alive – to breathe,
to think, to enjoy, to love.”
“First thing every morning
— Norman Vincent Peale
before you arise
say out loud, I believe.”
“I arise full of eagerness and energy,
— Zane Grey
knowing well
what achievement lies ahead of me.”
Today’s MotD encourages us to arise! Arise to our potential! Arise to our enoughness! Arise to our dreams/goals! The fact that we are alive to engage in this particular post today is a miracle. Not everyone who went to bed last night, woke up this morning. It’s a bit of a sobering fact and yet, one that will hopefully inspire us to appreciate that we’re still here. And if we’re still here, then anything we want to make happen for ourselves is still possible! We’ve been given another day.
Along with our gratitude for this new day, our challenge becomes arising to our full potential. As we prepare for the start of a new year, we are encouraged to examine what we want to create for ourselves in this upcoming year and, more importantly, what obstacles we let get in our way.
Throughout 2022, many of the MotDs talked about this recurring theme of letting go, overcoming self-sabotage, stopping procrastination; and today we feel it’s just as important to bring up again. Because, let’s face it, sometimes we have to see or hear something a thousand times before it clicks.
For some help with overcoming our obstacles, here from Jeff Moore on EverydayPower.com are 7 Proven Ways For Overcoming Obstacles.
“When obstacles arise,
— Zig Ziglar
you change your direction
to reach your goal;
you do not change your decision
to get there.”
Blessings,
