Today’s Mandala Message: Let ‘er Rip!
This week I’m working through Principle #26 from Jack Canfield’s “The Success Principles” entitled “Acknowledge Your Positive Past”. I set my intention today to just play. I’m recovering from a mild-to-moderate case of Covid (the worst is over) and I really didn’t feel like following any regimen or theme or principle…I just wanted to play with this week’s MotW and procreate, to try out some new ideas, go beyond my comfort zone…play without restrictions, just let whatever wanted to rip, rip. And this is what I came up with…something completely different from anything I’ve done in my MotD history. It was a blast! And, I love how it turned out!
A good mindfulness practice would be to remember to “let ‘er rip” once in a while.
So how about you? Do you take yourself and/or what you do too seriously some times? Do you allow yourself to just play? Do you allow yourself to just let it rip? If not, I’m officially giving your permission to do so!
“Just get up there— Anita O’Day
and let it rip!”
