Corvallis jewelry and ornament makers, April and Chaum Spehar, of Northwest Goods, create beautiful handcrafted metalworks art pieces. This delightful tree ornament, entitled “Sun Ray”, beautifully and simply exemplifies the spirit of Oregon in mandala form…which the sun demonstrates as well.

Along with being an amazing artist and printmaker, I’m happy to showcase Willamette Valley (local) artist, Gale Everett, who creates these fantastic 3D sculptures that I just love. This one especially…look at all those mandalas! She made this one with waxed mulberry paper cones, wire and a hemlock frame. It definitely sparks the imagination…or rather, brain. 🙂
