I love everything about this gate: the mixed use of metal and wood, the mandala window, the tree with is filigree roots and branches, and it’s placement within the stone wall. The whole thing feels enchanted, that what we are about to experience when we enter will be magical.

259 – Paper Quilled Mandala
Honey, of Honey’s Quilling, created this delightful paper quilled Rangoli magnet set. On her web site she states that she “loves paper quilling.” It shows. Check out some of her other projects.
257 – Cathedral de Barcelona Mandala
This beautiful mandala resides on the facade of the Cathedral Basilica of Barcelona probably the most renowned “work in progress” on the planet. Pamela Unplugged visited Barcelona in 2013 and captured this great shot of the mandala above the main entrance to the cathedral. Actually her original photo captured the whole facade and because of the photo’s size, I could zero in on the mandala without loosing the quality of the image.
256 – Mézesmanna Mandalas
These scrumptious works for art are COOKIES!!! Cookie artist, Judit Czinkné Poór, better known as Mézesmanna, creates these amazing delectable Hungarian-styled beauties.
252 – Queen Elizabeth Mandala
Yesterday, Queen Elizabeth became the UK’s longest reigning monarch in its history…63 years and seven months. One of the many things she’s known for is her hats…she always wears them and most of them are round…mandalas; and she wears them well.
251 – Soutache Mandala
Beader extraordinaire, Christina Neit, aka Good Quill Hunting, created this exquisite piece of soutache pendant and necklace. I love all the intricate beed work around the stones and off the gold braid. What a fun piece this would be to wear.
