From Saffi, of Saffi Land, we have this beautiful neutral-colored mandala which she created based on a picture of a beautiful carved wall tile from the Alhambra Palace in Spain. I love how Saffi took a very complex image and turned it into a delicate mandala, making it more soothing with the warm earthy colors.

British sculptor, photographer and environmentalist, Andy Goldsworthy, created this delightful nature sculpture using blocks of snow to forms these amazing circles. I appreciate the “cool-ness” of his art and at the same time I’m in awe of how he managed to create not just one but four of these pieces. How did he do keep them from collapsing in on themselves?

284 – Global Earth Star Mandala
Oregon artist and energy healer, Brian Porter, created this beautiful geometric art piece called Global Earth Star as part of a series of called Soul Time Stars. It consists of three concentric 24 pointed star (14″ diameter) with copper foil tape on plexiglass. When placed in a window, during the daytime, the color comes into the space and at night, if there is a light on in the room, the color goes out into the world.
