226 – Shadow Mandala

Mandalma of “Mandal’arte ~ mandalas na natureza” on facebook, recently posted this reverse shadow of a mandala onto a tree. What a cool idea! And the cat is a delightful added touch to the scene.

225 – Jupiter Mandala

Today we showcase the most massive planet in our solar system: Jupiter. Included in today’s MotD is the shadow cast by one of Jupiter’s moons: Europa, which in its own right is a fascinating and beautiful space mandala.

Sharon Owens paints beautiful floral art pieces. This time she decided to “try something new.” She created a simple mandala design. And instead of watercolors, she used color pencils.

223 – Halls Hill Labyrinth Mandala

Portland, Oregon builder of gardens, Jeffrey Bale, created this amazing 11-circuit stone labyrinth on Bainbridge Island in Washington State. Based on his blog site, he started this project around September 2013 and completed it around May 2014.
