326 – Sacré Coeur de Montmartre Door Mandalas
During our 1996 trip to Paris I remember us visiting La Basilique du Sacré Coeur de Montmartre however I somehow missed noticing the doors…to be fair it was pre-Mandala Lady days.
280 – Les Boules Mandalas
Belgium sculptor, Pol Bury, created this beautiful Kinetic Mirror Ball Sculptural Fountain located at the Palais Royal…actually he created two of these fountains for the Royal Palace. American photographer, Virginia Jones, captured this delightful image of “Les Boules” in all their reflective glory.
263 – Galeries Lafayette Mandala
One would think this grand stained glass window would be found in some spectacular cathedral or museum…one would be wrong. This amazing ceilings sits atop the Galeries Lafayette, a 100+ year old upscale department store in Paris, France.
237 – RedBall Mandala
I heard about the RedBall Project years ago created by Kurt Perschke who works in sculpture, video, collage and public space. This 15′ high playful ball travels the globe visiting cities where it becomes wedge in different locations for different periods of time for all to enjoy who happen upon it.

I’ve had the idea for quite some time now to showcase a bicycle as a mandala of the day because structurally it consists of 3 mandala-like forms: two wheels and the pedal/gear thingy. I was holding out for just the right image and then I saw this photo by Virginia Jones of Paris Through My Lens blog site.
