New Week::New Theme: Blue

We start this week’s theme with an out-of-this-world example of a blue mandala: the beautiful planet Neptune as photographed by NASA. I realize that his planet is mostly (if not all) gas, still, I think it would be so cool to check it out.

As it turns out, this is a wonderful example of “coloring” monochromatically: in this case varying shades of blue.

About this image, NASA states:

The picture shows the Great Dark Spot and its companion bright smudge; on the west limb the fast moving bright feature called “Scooter” and the little dark spot are visible. These clouds were seen to persist for as long as Voyager’s cameras could resolve them. North of these, a bright cloud band similar to the south polar streak may be seen.

In Astrology, the planet “Neptune is considered a planet of inspiration, dreams, psychic receptivity, illusion, and confusion. Neptune rules spirituality, and all things subtle.www.CafeAstrology.com

Inspiration For Today

…Neptune is associated with intuition and spiritual enlightenment. … The more negative manifestations of Neptune include deception, trickery, deceit, guilt, and addiction.  http://www.CafeAstrology.com

On a scale of our own personal spiritual growth (enlightened <–> delusional) where would we place ourselves? True blue? Or out of the blue?

Happy Coloring!
