23-085 Do It Anyway #1

Today’s Mandala Message: Just Jump In

This week I’m combining Principles #14 and #15 from Jack Canfield’s “The Success Principles” entitled “Lean Into It” and “Experience the Fear and Take Action Anyway”. I set my intention today to ponder one of his subheadings: Just Jump In! Which I did with the coloring this mandala. I just started coloring, and the idea for the next color to use just popped into my head.

So here’s something interesting. I went back to the book to find where he says “Just Jump In” and find a quote to use—and it’s nowhere to be found in either of the principles. Instead what I did was “misinterpret” part of the Martin Luther King, Jr. quote that Canfield used where it says: “Just take the first step”. That being said, I’m sticking with the “Just Jump In” theme of this coloring. Looking at it has the feeling of: “just plant the seeds, the plants will grow”.

Regarding the “take the first step” thought, Canfield states: “Simply start, then keep taking what feel like logical next steps, and the journey will ultimately take you to where you want to go—or even someplace better.”

So how about you? Are you willing to jump into one of your goals? Are you able to jump in? What would be your first step?

“Take the first step in faith.
You don’t have to see
the whole staircase.
Just take the first step.”

— Martin Luther King, Jr
