Message

I’m reminded of the Foreigner song “I want to know what love is”. But instead of asking this of another person, we’re asking it of the Divine.

Love is one of those terms that gets used and abused, overshadowing its truthful meaning. The thing is, the meaning is not found in words. It’s more of an inner knowing that transcends anything we mere mortals can define.

Today we’re being to step into this Divine realm and let it tell us or show us what it means.

Today I had the experience of walking in a park. A woman and I passed by each other. I smiled at her but nothing from her. About five minutes later I see her up ahead standing in front of the enormous and beautiful tree. She kissed her hand and then pressed her hand on the tree. It was lovely to watch. As we start to pass each other, I looked at her and placed my hand over my heart and smiled. Amazingly, she did the same back to me. It was an extraordinary moment; it felt expansive and connecting.

For me, that was a taste of what love is.
