Korean artist, Jaehyo Lee, created these delightful wooden orbs from discarded wood and tree branches. He assembles various chunks of wood, burns and then carefully polishes them to create visual contrast and a smooth surface. With so many amazing pieces to choose from I decided on this one since today is day 333 in our 365 day calendar.

330 – La Piedra Pintada Mandala
This amazing round-ish rock formation seems like it should be in some ancient region of the world but you would be mistaken. Known as La Piedra Pintada (Painted Rock), it can be found in central, California. I love when Mother Nature creates mandalas.
326 – Sacré Coeur de Montmartre Door Mandalas
During our 1996 trip to Paris I remember us visiting La Basilique du Sacré Coeur de Montmartre however I somehow missed noticing the doors…to be fair it was pre-Mandala Lady days.
322 – Crystal Labyrinth Mandala
I found this stunning crystal labyrinth image on Ivona Antalii’s facebook page. The power, beauty and grace of it makes my heart sing. How cool it must have been to be in the presence of this creation.
314 – Modern Sand Mandala
Today we can watch this beautiful sand mandala being made in a more modern way and using a stencil. Watch how in little over a minute this man easily and casually puts down these layers of bright colors…some of which had me wondering “how is that going to work?”
312 – Human Tower Mandala
This amazing photo captures an astounding moment of human ingenuity, spirit and strength. These people form the foundation of a soon-to-be human tower, known as a “castell” as part of the annual Castells Competition held in the Catalonia region of Spain. This moment in time showcases a very dramatic human mandala.
310 – Veggie Chakra Mandala
How great is this! The Produce Guru at the Salt Spring Island Country Grocer in BC, Canada created this veggie masterpiece (mandala) from leeks and yellow peppers! Mandalas abound in this image.
