Continuing with Principle #3 from Jack Canfield’s “The Success Principles” entitled “Decide what you want”, I set the intention today to contemplate the overall answer that’s floating around in my psyche when I think about “what do I really want”…that answer is: I want to feel good about myself. That feels like my biggest block. If I don’t feel good about myself how can I go after big wants (to do, to be, to have).
To be honest, there are several areas in my life where I do feel good about myself. It’s when I look at my creative endeavors. I feel like I could do/be so much more. Knowing this, acknowledging this just lets me know where I need to do some more healing and letting go.
As for the digital coloring of this mandala, wow…there’s some wild colors and combinations that I don’t often use. The “clam shell” sections look to me like flower petals opening up, with a golden light radiating from the center. On some level, a part of me truly wants to shine. We’ll see how this goes over the next few days.
BTW…had an interesting dream last night that I was going through all of my dad’s stuff from when he passed and found a slew of old used, unmarked videos and cassettes. When I woke up, it reminded me how my former therapists used to talk about erasing the old tapes (messaging) in our heads. The dream seemed to let me know that: hey, I finally found them…now I can dispose of them. Although part of me wants to play them to find out what’s on them…I won’t, but I am tempted. 😁
So how about you? Do you have old tapes playing in your heard? How do you feel about yourself? What would you say is your biggest block to getting what you want?
“Whatever course you decide upon,

there is always someone
to tell you that you are wrong.
There are always difficulties
arising which tempt you to believe
that your critics are right.
To map out a course of action
and follow it to an end
requires courage.”
