How cool is this. Inspired by the book, ‘A Little Book of Coincidence’ by John Martineau, charting software company, Ensign Software, created this dance of the planets mandala by taking the orbits of venus and earth and digitally drawing a line between the two planet positions every few days.

183 – Corgi Go Round Mandala
Today’s MotD is actually a mandala in motion. It’s a video of this adorable corgi who just LOVES to go round and round and round on the carousel. So along with the carousel being mandala-like, so is the movement of the carousel and the corgi, yet both going in opposing directions.

My dear friend, Michelle, completed her delightful colouring of the “Follow the Bouncing Ball” mandala from my Guidance Mandala Coloring Book. I really appreciate her use of color in both a symmetrical and somewhat asymmetrical way; along with her use of mixed media: color pencils and metallic gel pens.

British book binder, print maker, and artist, Louisa Boyd, created this mystical watercolour painting, entitled “Flock”, on the pages of her artist book, turning it into a delightfully delicate circular sculpture.
180 – White Spotted Mandala
Today we go under the sea for today’s MotD. Zoologist and also Sr. Editor for NotCot.org, Justine Aw photographed these white spotted jellyfish (phyllorhiza punctata) at the Steinhart Aquarium at the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco, California.
