Oregon artist and energy healer, Brian Porter, created this beautiful geometric art piece called Global Earth Star as part of a series of called Soul Time Stars. It consists of three concentric 24 pointed star (14″ diameter) with copper foil tape on plexiglass. When placed in a window, during the daytime, the color comes into the space and at night, if there is a light on in the room, the color goes out into the world.

283 – Macrame Mandala
Macrame and beading artist, Cece Cormier (The Beading Yogini), created this delightful macrame mandala barrette secured entirely by knots. I love her color combinations…reminds me of neapolitan ice cream: vanilla, chocolate and strawberry.
282 – Incan Mayan Mandala
I love all the powerful Incan and Mayan symbology incorporated into Oksana Stepanova’s (OKSITOCIN) pen & ink mandala entitled “Inca”. Her spectacular use of symmetry and asymmetry along with all the detail work makes for a stunning piece of black and white art. She may be an interior designer by trade but she is an amazing artist at heart.
281 – Hula Hoops Mandala
Marawa the Amazing holds the world record for hula-hooping 150 hoops at one time! I still need to learn how to do it with just one hoop…how does she do it? She can also roller skate in high heels whilst hooping – but she prefers to do it separately. She truly IS amazing!
280 – Les Boules Mandalas
Belgium sculptor, Pol Bury, created this beautiful Kinetic Mirror Ball Sculptural Fountain located at the Palais Royal…actually he created two of these fountains for the Royal Palace. American photographer, Virginia Jones, captured this delightful image of “Les Boules” in all their reflective glory.
279 – City Square Mandala
Mandalma of “Mandal’arte ~ mandalas na natureza” on facebook, recently posted this photo of this large Nature mandala in a section of Lisbon, Portugal; a community project which she organized and facilitated. I love her art and how she paints with nature.
273 – Flare Mandala
My dear coloring friend and her friends did something I like to encourage colorers to do: color a mandala design more than once…especially my mandala designs…I’m a bit biased. For me it’s fascinating to see the different approaches different people take.
